I went to see this play last Sunday, a local community group performed and it was very well done.
Yes, It definitely was written by Charles Dickens. There is something so poignant about Scrooge's turn around,Tiny Tim and the whole Cratchit family's feelings about love, life and Christmas.

Charles Dickens and I was hoping I had a copy to read for the holidays, but so far I don't. Wonder if it's on a waiting list this time of year at the library?

Charles Dickens--I read it every year. I enjoy Christmas, but sometimes the craziness gets to me and reading "A Christmas Carol" always gets me back into the spirit.
Thanks!

Charles Dickens wrote A Christmas Carol.
I had a nephew play Scrooge's nephew one year in the school play. I wasn't able to go, but my brother filmed it & we watched it the next time I got out there to visit. I might be a bit biased, but he was awesome in the role.

Even if the others hadn't put the answers in their comments already, this is one of the rare questions where I actually knew the answer (Charles Dickens).
Thanks so much, Lucy!
(I don't think I need to add my email address here, right?)
